The color splash tools is probably one of the most intriguing features that pros and amateurs love. Most photo editors offer this feature. And when used accordingly, it can create some awesome effects. So here, we have five effective tips for achieving maximum effects on your edited photos:

Turn a Simple Photo into a Vision

Using a portrait photo with a guy having mesmerizing green eyes, try to highlight the eyes only. This adds a sense of mystery to the photo. Using the splash color tool, just recolor those beautiful green eyes.

Combine color splash with other effects

You can achieve some mesmerizing results using splash, but you don’t have to stop there. Some photos have their flaws like spilled pages on a book or a photo bomber practically destroying a beautiful photo. All these can be removed using filters or effects, such as adding a sepia tone, blurring parts of the image, etc.

On the other hand, you can also add pizzazz by mixing various filters and photo adjustments. Playing with the different features of the Cut Paste Photos App

Try highlighting more subtle colors

If you want to surprise people, don’t highlight the most prominent colors of a photo. Instead, go for the more subtle ones that can make a difference. For example, try focusing on shallow green or yellow tones. They are pleasant to the eye and can look very good when contrasted to a B&W photo.

Let your imagination run free

When first attempting to use the splash color tool, most people look at photos edited by other people. Then, they follow them almost blindly. Nothing more wrong. While it’s okay to get inspiration from others from time to time, the best results are always obtained by letting your imagination run freeAfter all, painting and sculpture artists obtain the best results when they shock the public with something unique, don’t they?

Try turning things around and highlight the colors that are irrelevant. Try leaving colors of the background behind and not the subject of the photo. That makes the image pop out even more.

Use your best photos

Color Splash works great on a wide range of photos. Yet for best results, you should only use those that catch the eye quickly. Avoid pictures with out-of-focus objects. Stay away from photos taken on poor lighting conditions, or those that have spots on them. They will require extra effort, and the result might not be so good in the end, as opposed to bright and clear photos.

Color Splash can bring your photos back to life and amaze your friends. However, make sure to apply the effect only on your best photos. The color splash tool works really well with high quality images making subject of a photo pop out. And, in the process, add value to a once dull photo.
